Ardill Payne & Partners has been appointed to the Local Government Procurement Authority (LGPA) panel for professional engineering consulting services for the period 1/11/2011 to 14/2/2014.

 Ardill Payne successfully submitted a tender for the LGP1208 – Engineering, Planning and Development and Community Professional Consulting Services through the LGPA (http://www.lgp.org.au). The selection is an arduous test of experience, qualifications, OHS compliance and meeting QA criteria. Appointment to the panel means that NSW councils can engage Ardill Payne for works up to $150,000 without undertaking a costly and time consuming tender process.

Cypress at Byron designed by award winning Haysom Architects was recently awarded a Commendation at the Gold Coast/Northern Rivers Regional Architecture Awards for the Multiple Housing Category and also received the Residential Design Award in Landscape Architecture at the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects Queensland Awards for Gamble McKinnon Green. 

Ardill Payne & Partners  undertook all civil, structural and environmental engineering for the  project.

Recently Gloucester Coal announced in their 2011 Annual Report:

 “At Donaldson, study works and approvals for an increase in production at both Tasman and Abel will be progressed with a focus on maximising coking coal output. In the medium term, Gloucester Coal intends to introduce long wall mining at Donaldson which is expected to increase productivity and reduce the cost base in a meaningful way.” (Gloucester Coal 2011 Annual report, P7)

 APP has been commissioned to provide preparation designs for mine extension for the Tasman Mine, located at Maitland in the Hunter Valley. This involves providing designs for stockpile areas, access roads, mine entrances, buildings and associated conveyor platforms. Space Studio was recently awarded the Australian Institute of Architects (NSW Country Division) 2011 award for non-residential architecture for the buildings at the Byron Community Primary School.

APP is delighted to have provided Civil and Structural Engineering design services for the project. This relatively modest project has received high recognition, beating much larger projects across the state.

Ardill Payne & Partners was commisioned by Ballina RSL Club in 2009 for the structural design of an 80m timber board walk to continue the riverside cycle way path around the RSL.

Ardill Payne undertook the structural design of the initial shopping centre in 1989 and were engaged for the redevelopment project in 2007.  Ardill Payne were responsible for gaining Town Planning approvals for the redevelopment, along with structural design and survey.

APP offers a complete service to the extractive industry including the preparation and lodging of Development Application and Environmental Impact Statements, preparation of annual licence renewals, preparation of Plans of Management, Civil Design of access and haulage roads, Traffic Studies,  preparation of Stormwater Management Plans & Acid Sulphate Soil Management Plans, Stormwater quality investigation, treatment and design, Acid Sulphate soil investigation and treatment, Structural design of lifting equipment and workshops, Surveying of site and cross sections. 

Ardill Payne undertook all Civil and Structural Engineering for Department of Rural Health offices in Lismore.

 APP has been responsible for the Structural Engineering Design for all stages Xavier Catholic  College, located at Skennars Head, which commenced in 1999.

APP recently undertook the engineering design for Xavier’s new Multi-Purpose Hall.

 The original concept design for the  Lennox Head Community Centre was completed by Greenway Hirst Page Architects. Archimages Architecture provided construction documentation and contract administration services. Ardill Payne & Partners undertook all structural and civil design for the project.

Ardill Payne have undertaken all planning including rezoning, development application and statement of environmental effects for this greenfield site.  Avalon Estate is a stage development located in Wollongbar.  Stage Two has recently been completely.

Magnificent views of the Far North Coast and hinterland have been captured beautifully in this Archimages Architecture designed rural house.  Structural engineering design was completed by Ardill Payne & Partners.
